Through this blog I intend to offer free cards readings, just because I like to help people.

Before you ask, there is no catch, I'm not going to ask for money, you don't have to pay. The only thing I'm going to ask for is patience, since I also have an everyday job and this is not the main activity in my life. I will try to do your reading and get back to you as soon as I can. All you need to do to get your free reading is send your question through this form. I would also like to point out that I'm not an expert, so if you feel that the reading is wrong or it doesn't relate to your question, please let me know so I can improve.

But before you send your inquiry, I strongly recommend you to read the following information on how the cards can help and what kind of questions we can ask.

• How do the cards work?

This is probably the first thing any clever human being wonders when it comes to tarot/oracles readings. There are different theories that can explain this.

The first one would be of the "spiritual" kind, and it consists of spiritual entities (angels, spirits, Gods, Masters, etc.) interacting with the cards reader and the querent so they pick the right cards to answer the questions.

The second theory is about the subconscious mind. Consciously, we use words to express ourselves, but the subconscious mind uses images -like the cards-. Through these images we can "dive" into our subconscious mind to find out what images are stored there. It is a task of the reader, along with the querent, to interpret the meaning of those images and how they relate to the person's life.

A third theory is Carl Jung's "synchronicity". According to it, "synchronicity is the experience of two or more events which are causally unrelated occurring together in a supposedly meaningful manner". Some examples of this are: you think about someone you haven't seen in a while, and a few minutes later you hear from that person. Or you think of a TV show episode you've seen, and suddenly there is a rerun of that same episode. The examples list could be very long, but I think you already know what we're talking about here. So following this theory we can say that everything in the universe is connected. And this is what makes us choose the right cards to answer the questions we have in mind. That is why the question needs to be asked as clear as possible, to avoid confusion. The more accurate the question, the more accurate the answer will be.

• Do time and space matter?

Apparently, they don't. As long as the reader keeps in mind the question that was asked, even if the querent lives in a different country, or even if the person involved in the reading is not aware of the reading being done, the right cards will turn out. This is why no information is needed. Some people request the querent to provide their name, age, location and other information, but this is only a personal choice. Probably they feel they can contact their intuition better if they at least know something about the person they are reading for. But none of this information is strictly necessary.

• Are readings done by computers as effective as readings done by a human being?

If you want to know my personal opinion, no, they are not. The principle of synchronicity will probably work the same way as it would work if a human being was reading for you, but it's the interpretation and the reader's intuition what computarized methods lack of. It would be the same difference that you can find if you ask a lawyer about a case or go read the "answer" in the written laws. The answer can't be wrong, but you probably won't know how to interpret it, and it might not apply strictly to your case.

• Can we ask the same question more than once?

You could do it, but it's not recommended to do so. If you are doing it to prove that there is no way the same cards will turn out the second or third time you ask the question, then you will probably "beat the system". But you probably won't find any contradictions either. The second cards layout will only complete the first reading, providing more information on the subject. Some people become obsessed with tarot and they will ask the same thing over and over until the cards and their interpretation completely lose their meaning. So my advice would be: keep in mind the first reading and try to analyze it thoroughly. Sometimes it might not make much sense, but after the events happen you will find out you'll be able to interpret what the cards were trying to tell you.

• Can the cards lie or be wrong?

The cards are like a wise man in a tribe. They should be heard and their advices should be taken into account. If the reading was made properly, there is only little chance for mistakes and, if any, the mistakes can be made by the reader's interpretation. So, basically, the cards can't be wrong, the reading can.

• Do cards readers have psychic abilities?

Some do, some others don't. In my case, I don't. I only interpret what I see in my cards and try to apply it to the question I was asked. That is why it is better if you provide complete information on the issue. This doesn't mean you have to explain every detail and give personal information. But if you ask "how do you see my love life?" I will probably be able to give you only a vague answer. It might be better if you say, for instance, "I'm actually in a relationship but we are going through some trouble. What can I do to make things work again between us?".

• What kind of questions can I ask?

You can ask almost anything, as long as you know how to ask. I need to make clear that it is not ethical to use the cards to ferret out information about someone else's life that is not related to us in any way.
I insist on the cards being a great method to know more about ourselves, to make decisions, to find out if we made the right choice, to see what we can expect from a situation or a person, to know more about a current event, or to investigate on what caused a specific situation.
I don't agree too much on using the cards to predict future. Basically because we forge our future with every single thing we do. This would be the so called "butterfly effect" ("small variations of the initial condition of a dynamical system may produce large variations in the long term behavior of the system").
Also, you have to know that most of the times it is hard to get an accurate answer if you're asking a "yes/no" question. Depending on what oracle is being used, you might ask something that can be asked by a simple "yes" or "no", but sometimes, even if the oracle allows it, the answer might not be precise. Only if the energetic influences on the question are really strong, you will get a "yes" or a "no" as your answer. Most of the times the cards will give you a "maybe", or they can tell you about the current influences on the matter, so you know a bit more about it and can work it out for yourself.
Also, cards can't be used to know specific names, dates, places, times, phone numbers, etc. So you cannot ask "who should I date?". Simply because I don't own an oracle that contains people's names (if you know one, that would be interesting). The only way to ask questions about these specific details is to keep asking about each one of them. For instance, in the example above, we could ask "should I date John?" and pull a card to see what the answer is. Then ask again, "should I date Dan?" and pull another card for this question. And so on, trying different names. The same thing applies to dates, time, places and every specific information.
It is also very important to understand that even when the cards can give you some insight on your health status, it is imperative that you see a doctor about that. The cards can't provide you with a medical diagnosis.

Pero antes de que envíes tu pregunta, te sugiero que leas la siguiente información sobre cómo pueden ayudarte las cartas y qué tipos de preguntas se pueden responder. Si envías una pregunta que no se ajusta a estos métodos, no garantizo que pueda responderte acertadamente.

• ¿Cómo funcionan las cartas?

Esta es probablemente la primera cosa que cualquier ser humano inteligente se cuestiona cuando se trata de lecturas de tarot/oráculos. Hay diferentes teorías que intentan explicarlo:

La primera sería de un cariz "espiritual", y consiste en que ciertas entidades espirituales (ángeles, espíritus, dioses, maestros, etc.) interactúan con quien está realizando la lectura y con el consultante, para hacer que escojan las cartas correctas que respondan a sus preguntas.

La segunda teoría es acerca del subconsciente. Conscientemente, utilizamos palabras para expresarnos, pero el subconsciente utiliza imágenes -al igual que las cartas-. A través de estas imágenes podemos calar hondo en nuestra mente subconsciente para averiguar qué tipo de imágenes se encuentran almacenadas en ella. Luego es deber de quien realiza la lectura, así como del consultante, interpretar el significado de esas imágenes y cómo se relacionan con la vida de la persona.

Una tercera teoría es la de la "sincronicidad", de Carl Jung. De acuerdo a ella, la sincronicidad es "una forma de conexión entre fenómenos o situaciones de la realidad que se enlazan de manera acausal, es decir, que no presentan una ligazón causal, lineal". Algunos ejemplos de esto serían: piensas en alguien que no has visto por algún tiempo, y unos minutos después te llegan noticias de esa persona. O piensas en un episodio en particular de algún programa de TV, y de pronto comienzan a transmitir una repetición de ese mismo episodio. La lista de ejemplos podría ser muy larga, pero creo que ya sabes de qué estamos hablando.

De esta teoría podemos extraer que todo en el universo está interconectado. Y esto es lo que hace que escojamos las cartas correctas para contestar a la pregunta que tenemos en mente. Por ello es que es necesario que la pregunta sea formulada de la forma más clara posible, para evitar confusiones. Mientras más concreta sea la pregunta, más concreta será la respuesta.

• ¿Importan el tiempo y el lugar?

Aparentemente, no. Mientras quien realiza la lectura se concentre en la pregunta, incluso si el consultante vive en otro país, o incluso si la persona sobre la cual se consulta no sabe que se está llevando a cabo la lectura, las cartas serán las correctas. Por ello es que no se necesita información. Algunas personas piden al consultante que indiquen su nombre, edad, lugar de residente y otros datos, pero esto es sólo una decisión personal. Probablemente esto les ayude a contactarse mejor con su intuición. Pero ninguno de estos datos es estrictamente necesario.

• ¿Son las lecturas realizadas por computadoras tan efectivas como las realizadas por humanos?

Si quieres saber mi opinión personal, no, no lo son. El principio de sincronicidad probablemente funcionará de la misma forma tanto si la lectura la realiza una máquina como un humano, pero las computadoras carecen de intuición y capacidad de interpretación. La diferencia sería la misma que la que hay entre consultar a un abogado sobre un caso, e ir a leer las leyes aplicables para buscar respuestas. La respuesta no va a ser errada, pero probablemente no sepas cómo interpretarla, y puede que el tipo previsto en la ley no aplique estrictamente a tu caso.

• ¿Podemos preguntar lo mismo más de una vez?

Podrías hacerlo, pero no es recomendable. Si lo haces para probar que no hay forma de que aparezca la misma carta en una segunda o tercera vez en que preguntes lo mismo, probablemente salgas victorioso. Pero seguramente tampoco encontrarás ninguna contradicción. La segunda lectura sólo vendrá a complementar a la primera, proveyendo más información sobre el asunto. Algunas personas se obsesionan con el tarot y preguntan lo mismo una y otra vez hasta que las cartas y su interpretación pierden sentido por completo. Así que mi consejo sería: ten presente la primera lectura e intenta analizarla profundamente. A veces puede que no tenga mucho sentido al principio, pero con el transcurrir del tiempo descubrirás que serás capaz de interpretar a qué se referían las cartas.

• ¿Pueden las cartas mentir o equivocarse?

Las cartas son como el sabio de una tribu. Deberían ser "escuchadas" y sus consejos deberían ser tomados en cuenta.
Si la lectura fue hecha correctamente, hay pocas probabilidades de error y, en todo caso, el error puede ser hecho por quien interpreta. De forma que, básicamente, las cartas posiblemente no se equivoquen, pero el intérprete sí.

• ¿Quienes leen las cartas tienen habilidades psíquicas?

Algunos sí, otros no. En mi caso, no. Sólo interpreto lo que veo en mis cartas e intento relacionarlo con la pregunta que me hicieron. Es por ello que siempre es mejor que des información completa sobre el asunto. Esto no significa que tengas que explicar cada detalle ni entrar en el terreno personal. Pero si preguntas "¿cómo ves mi vida amorosa?" es posible que sólo pueda darte una respuesta imprecisa. Sería mejor si dijeras, por ejemplo, "Actualmente estoy en una relación pero estamos atravesando algunos problemas. ¿Qué puedo hacer para recomponer la pareja?"

• ¿Qué tipo de preguntas puedo hacer?

Puedes preguntar casi todo, siempre que sepas cómo preguntar. Debo aclarar que no es ético utilizar las cartas para husmear en la vida de los demás si no se relaciona con la nuestra.
Insisto en que las cartas son un excelente método de autoconocimiento, sirven para tomar decisiones, ver qué podemos esperar de una situación o persona, para saber si tomamos la mejor determinación, conocer sobre un hecho del presente, o investigar las causas de cierto suceso en nuestra vida.
No estoy demasiado de acuerdo en utilizar las cartas para predecir el futuro. Principalmente porque escribimos nuestro propio futuro a medida que vivimos. Sería el tan mencionado "efecto mariposa" (dadas unas condiciones iniciales de un determinado sistema natural, la más mínima variación en ellas puede provocar que el sistema evolucione en formas totalmente diferentes). También debes saber que la mayoría de las veces es difícil obtener una respuesta concreta si estás preguntando algo por sí o por no. Dependiendo de qué tipo de oráculo se utilice, podrías hacer este tipo de preguntas, pero algunas veces, incluso si el oráculo lo permite, la respuesta puede ser vaga. Sólo si las influencias energéticas son realmente decisivas obtendrás como respuesta un "sí" o un "no". Generalmente las cartas sólo te contestarán con un "tal vez", o te brindarán información sobre las influencias sobre el asunto, para que puedas conocer un poco más sobre él y resolverlo por ti mismo.
Además, las cartas no pueden dar datos específicos como nombres, fechas, lugares, tiempo, números de teléfono, etc. De forma que no puedes preguntar "con quién debo intentar una nueva relación amorosa?". Simplemente porque no tengo un oráculo cuyas cartas contengan nombres de personas (si conoces uno, sería interesante). La única forma de averiguar estos detalles en particular sería haciendo varias preguntas para cada uno de ellos. Por ejemplo, siguiendo el caso citado arriba, podríamos preguntar "¿debería intentar una relación con Juan?" y sacar una carta para ver su respuesta. Luego volver a preguntar "¿debería intentar una relación con Luis?", y sacar una nueva carta para esta pregunta. Y así, probando con diferentes nombres. Lo mismo sucede para las fechas, tiempo, lugares y toda información específica. Por lo que podrás darte cuenta de lo engorroso que resulta.
También es muy importante que tengas en cuenta que, aún cuando las cartas pueden guiarte sobre asuntos relacionados con tu salud, consultes a un médico sobre estos temas. Las cartas no pueden dar diagnósticos médicos.
